  • It promised so much but in reality, no. Total connection no setting up etc. Cant go wrong. Sure thats a great side of the unit but its when you need to work fast editing plugins, it gets awkward. I wanted something that would give me the flow of a real console. it didnt. Peering at the screen constantly, it wasnt intuitive. The params are blocked by the knobs. The casing was designed by a Germandesigner who is in to minimalism. But I think this is where this box went wrong. All showy, no work.

  • @thisiswhereiwatch

Scrolling multiple pages to find a parameter. 17 in the case of one synth (filter) It controlled everything in Logic but in Cubase it didnt control soft synths (it might now)?

I just didnt bond with it. It felt like an extension of my monitor but thats what I wanted to get away from.

The layout of many plugins was weird.

The build Quality I found to be a little poor.

However, since avid own it now Im sure its better.

But try and borrow one for a week and see how you get on

  • @harrymerchant456 what were the reasons? if i may ask

  • To be honest Im glad I sold my Euphonix controllers. There were a number of reasons I sold them.

  • oooh am drooling over this!! gosh a lifetime wishlist..

  • @TheDanielShepherd just because you have the mc mix, doesn't mean you can only use the mc mix and not the mouse. Instead, why not use both of them while you work? I'd use the MC Mix for it's motor faders which make track automation easier and smoother. Much easier than using the mouse to get difficult track automation down. So just because you have both, doesn't mean you can't just switch back and forth between control units. It shouldn't lead you to think that the MC Mix is a waste to invest in

  • i am a sound engineer and i love this product.. as soon as i can afford one

    i'm gonna get one

  • It shoud improve your workflow but it seems to me that it is better to use mouse and keyboard

  • Henry,

Las superficies de control las venden por separado, la especial para el estudio de grabación es la EUPHONIX MC MIX, la del video. Con esta superficie se controla el programa LOGIC PRO , el que utilizo en el estudio para grabar.

  • Much much easier and faster to just use the mouse, 4:32 to 5:11 proves that, much quicker to just select silver EQ with the mouse...
