Amiga Longplay [685] Police Quest: In Pursuit Of The Death Angel

The first chapter of the legendary Police Quest series.
Most commands in the game are executed by typing them but on occasions I forgot to keep my fingers off the shortcut keys (for example the [F4] key when leaving a scene to drive the city map). Also, entering a location from the city map is executed with the [F4] key. Driving the patrol car at the fastest speed (with the siren on) is executed with the [F10] key.

Near the end, there're two rather boring games of poker. I've manipulated the poker games, showing only wins in order to save time (and keep you awake). Also, waiting time driving around the city, at the park and in the hotel room have been shortened significantly.

Apart from solving all the puzzles, I've reached 254 points (out of a possible 245) by exploiting some bugs in the game and by solving some of the puzzles in a specific order (also bugs, I suppose).

@rayba47 dude, that "something" that is missing is your own passion. i've got the same as i got older and started to think what made Boulder Dash way better than WoW? simple test explained everything - i quit Wow, played BD again and lots of memories came back, but game sucked even more than WoW - it just lost it's "magic", because the only magical thing was me being a kid able to have fun no matter what i was doing. sad but true....

i remember playing this when i was 4 years old. Been playing video games ever since. 24 years later and even with access to Skyrim and all the fancy pants graphics games, something is missing that these games have. unfortunately the old amiga perished, and all is now lost as i can't seem to find one for purchase anywhere. Rest in peace old games.
