The shabad "FARIDA BURE DA BHALA KAR" is sung very beautifully by Bhai Gurdev singh ji and is one which i listen to over and over again, when i am sad or lonely as it returns the peace of my mind and reminds me of my late mother who used to advice us 'bache, bure da bhalla kar'

I had the chance to visit the Golden Temple in Amritsar. Just outside the temple, there are numerous vendors selling CDs of the most beautiful Sikh devotional music. I bought a CD that had this song. Inside the inner sanctum, people were continually performing live music just like this -- and the song was broadcast throughout the temple. So beautiful. My family is from Chennai, and I've told them to all visit Amritsar, one of the loveliest spots in India.
