I realize it's a horrifying book of the Bible. But you guys used the aggression in the right way in that song. This one just had some cuss words to emphasize it more and it made it worse in my opinion. Look, I love the band and the music, and I know I seem like I prick. But I was just speaking what it made me think. It's just weird to me

@steelsirenss the cussing is only there to emphasize the aggression of the song, it is not there without purpose, it doesnt make the song worse in any way if you think about it. Just because we write one song that has some Christian influence in it does not mean that we are tied down or bound to that specific subject matter. We write we choose to write about, such as things that we have been through personally or things that we have been through, such as bad relationships.

@steelsirenss not really, lyrics are a part of the form of expression of music. This was a very angry song, but in a way so was The Sixth Seal. It was written about the end of the world regarding the Book of Revelations, but it was never meant to openly promote Christianity upon our fans, we just knew that The Book of Revelations was the most metal and brutal way we've heard about the world ending, so we used that.

p.s. I love bands that can have christian members, and not become a "christian" band because of it. Being a person of agnostic/atheistic beliefs, it drives me crazy when I hear a song I totally dig, but then come to find out it's yet ANOTHER christian hardcore/metal band. I still listen to it, but it definitely taints the music for me. So thank you for not screaming your beliefs at all of our faces and just making music instead : )
