Ah, the original is still the best. So simple, yet so powerful. To anyone who hasn't seen Requiem for a Dream yet: Watch it. Watch this breathtaking masterpiece, even if it's one of the most depressing and disturbing movies ever made. I swear, you will like Lux Aeterna even more afterwards. You will hear a whole new dimension of incredibly deep sadness in this piece, a hopeless struggle, a strong this-is-the-end-feeling that words simply cannot describe. This is true art. Epic and emotional.
