You can blame the labour government who always cock up Britains military ability and The Americans didn't want Britain to have it either and supplied Britain with F111's on condition that that all development tools and blueprints were destroyed.

Apparently later production versions would have had variable pitch rectangular intakes similar to the tornado or F-15. That would have looked awesome!

The best condition Victor i'm aware of is "XM-715", the same one that "hopped" as it were, when i saw it on Television it was a surprise, she hasn't lost her touch for short take off's thats for sure ; )
A Dedicated Website is under development, it's a little way off still but it will be announced on YT when completed, since the long term undertaking is just as arduous as that of the "Save the Concorde Group" it's going to need all the Financial & public backing possible.
