actually yes, there is a comparison. you would hafta supercharge a 5.3 to get it to beat a 5.7 tundra. theres not enough bolts ons you can do, even a camswap, to make a 5.3 faster, im sorry. ur talking 381 hp vs 275

dustin2493, ur a fucking idiot, ur slowass 6.0 vortec max is nothing compared to a 5.7 iforce. I work for toyota, and I will admit that I hate them with a passion, especially tundras, but I will say that they are FAST. stock tundras regular cab, 2wd runs mid to low 14's. ur 6.0 POS runs 15's if its lucky.

yeah the 5.7 is a good motor but theres no mods for it ..... stock .vs. stock the tundra wins BUT when you mod a silverado theres no comparison

@M3SRT bro i smoked a 5.7 trundra in my 06 silverado 4.8 and all i have is cai,tbspacer,lt headers 3" ypipe, and cut out,vette servo,tune my truck has 270hp stock and the tundra has a full exhaust no cats...

@tundralover im sure i wasnt trying to go against you i actually have video proof on my page also raced a silverado ss (id guess and say it was an 05) thats 345hp and awd and at finish i was 2/10 slower but 1 mph faster so i was pulling on him (video also on my page)

@M3SRT The TRD eaton Supercharger makes the 5.7 have 505 CHP and 550 crank Ft, Lbs./Torque, and there are various intakes, and injector upgrades, exhuasts, ect. Not to mention, Toyota is the reason Ford had to come up with 4 new engines, and why GM had to upgrade from their 4 speeds (advanced in the 1988 redesign) to current on the 5.3 and 6.2 6 speeds. The 190 hp 4.3 has a 4 speed, and the 4.8.

@tundra243 not to burst ur bubble but this is an 06 therefore it has the 4.7 which only has 271 hp so yeah a 29 hp advantage on the 5.3
