My Olive Garden is really anal about that and if our managers swipe their cards and see that we didn't charge the person for additional salad we either a. get written up or b. get fired. She was just doing her job. If you can't afford the tab try Burger King next time...

seriously??? everyone thinks salad, soup are free??? they r if u get an entree but when your fat ass orders an entree n get soup...doesnt mean you can have salad too! seriously u try working for the olive garden and people like you come in and eat 5 to 6 bowls of salad and leave $2 tips....we'd LOVE to throw that money back at you....that would make our day even better!!!!

Why don't you actually think about the server waiting your table. I don't know many people who like to wait tables. Watch the comedy Waiting, it is EXACTLY like that. Every bit. They serve tables, because working at Burger King or Winn Dixie probably doesn't pay their bills and feed their children. It's depressing, and dealing with ignorant guests like you only makes the job worse. You might also want to know that you build a rep for yourself when you act like assholes in a restaurant.
