Jon Merritt does fine work. in fact, there are many good percussion instructors in central ohio who build their program starting in the fifth grade. others include ley at davidson and gerken at lancaster

Agreed traditional would look much better, The snares my senior year did match and it looked horrible. of course they blame the drum major for everything where im from so all fingers got pointed to me even when the dr beat fizzed out

Yeah. Well I don't figure he'll change it just because he hasn't taught that to kids from 5th on. I play tenors so it doesn't really affect me lol. But I'll be the only member of battery left next year, so we'll see how everything goes =\
