Hodir on Normal by Aeon on Rivendare. This video was recorded the first or second week of 3.1. Keep reading for extra tips and notes on hard mode.
*If you check the "Projected Textures" check box in your video settings, there will always be a rune where a snowdrift will fall. This makes it much easier to avoid them.*
Frost resist gear *does* help. It's another way for your tank to mitigate damage from frozen blows.
For hard mode, we tank him in the corner near the frozen cache. We break out *only* the mage and the shaman, as they will free the other NPCs as well and provide the most important buffs. The shaman buff will be cast on one person and can be spread around to others, and it is crucial that you share this buff. When we do this, most of our DPS is around 6-9k as a ballpark estimate. Bloodlust obviously helps a great deal. Two healers. Good luck!

If you're talking about the unit frames, that would be PitBull 3.0. The quickly scrolling combat text is Parrot.
