You didn't really show any of the barrens though, which are one of the most beautiful features of the area.

I grew up near there and it remains one of my favourite places on earth.
It will never be the same for me after Swissair Flight 111, though.
(It's best during the winter!)

We stayed in Peggy's Cove just two weeks before Swiss Air 111 went down. I would dearly love to get back there someday. Does anyone know who the artist is in the music track?

After much searching I found that this was recorded by Rita Rankin (Song and CD title is "Lantern Burn") from Nova Scotia. Thanks for the response though.

I don't know for sure who is singing the song... I would like to think it is one of the locals but it sort of sounds like a singer from Newfoundland named Pamela Morgan.... but I am from Tennessee... what would I know... anyway Nova Scotia is one of my favorite places and I too hope to get back there again....
