Vintage Fashion Archive.
A beautiful rare archive 1930's color fashion film, shot during a Marx Brothers movie in 1932. A gorgeous visual resource for women's fashion dress and style of the era. Enjoy. Music by the incomparable Ray Noble and Al Bowlly. original public domain footage from archive.org

  • They're all beautiful.

  • Just lovely. Viewing this makes one nostalgic for the ladies of yesteryear. Nice song too.

  • Love this video

  • @Xmoeshie147 You could find women who look like this if you looked hard enough. I had a classmate who with her long dirty blond curls, round face and thick red lips was a throwback. And don't forget Bernadette Peters. There were probably girls then who could have been the faces of the 60's, 70's etc., but that wasn't what they were looking for;there was a picture of the German White Rose martyr Sophie Scholl with disheveled hair that made her look like a punk in 1942-43("Youth Against Tyranny").

  • i wouldve LOVED to live in this time frame(:

  • @Xmoeshie147 I think the fashoin goals were different.

  • @Xmoeshie147 I have thought the same thing before. Only the woman at the end of this video would be considered attractive in our modern sense of beauty but in their era all of them were gorgeous.

  • The woman at 3:15 is just stunning.

  • a troublesome and unsettling decade, but the fashion could not be lovelier

  • 1:43 - 2:13 ... She could be Paul McCartney's twin sister! (Or mother, rather) They look so much alike... strange.

I love these videos! Thank you so much for posting! They are not only beautiful and fascinating, but helpful, even for this generation.
