All of my videos in this set were made with NO previous rehearsal time -- a "walk-in" recording in both the college and the theater. Pardon the wrong notes.
This is the second half of the Toccata because the Solo Trumpet ciphered violently during the first part. The 1930 Skinner organ is to receive a complete restoration --no "modernizing" -- in the future. It bears the OHS Historical Marker.

  • where did you get the sheet music Bravo

  • I haven't heard that neat work in years! It used to be on recitals often "way back when" (I'm now 67). Love EM Skinner organs and this is a grand one. Our church has a 1927 EMS, not as large as this one, but it can rattle the floor boards! Thanks for posting this.

  • What a miserable instrument

  • Percy Fletcher and Ernest Martin Skinner....how can you beat the combination!

  • Hey nice video. Nice organ too

  • OOOh! An old favourite. Percy isn't quite in the same league as Widor, but an enjoyable piece nevertheless and well performed too.

  • i can play this too! it took me ages to find the sheet music

  • Yeah, coe college! I used to practice on that organ!

  • Fantastic sound! Good old EM knew how to voice.

    Were is the instrument?
