A requested battle, never saw the movie 300 though :D 361 spartans vs 9602 persians
sorry for the lag, but enjoy :D
The name of the song is called requiem of a dream, this is the LOTR version which was used for a trailer.

Even on the last day, the Spartans werent by themselves. There were Thebans and Thespians too. Im thinking most people just wikied it -.-

@DomWeasel There were 7000 other Greeks there. Chances are if they held for 3 whole days those 7000 did the main part and eary part of the fighting. When they got tired peltasts covered them and the Greeks went behind the Spartans. Then the Spartans would be fresh and ready and those Perisans would have been in that pass all day in the sun.

Maybe a couple stayed but the entire Spartan Royal Guard was destroyed.
'Course on the first day 10,000 Persian bodies were dead, with only about 3 or so Spartans/Greeks dead.

Yes, but people have gotten it into their heads that the stand of the three hundred was the whole battle, not just the last act of it. 300 was a good film, but people seem to take it as pure historical fact.
