  • UGLY. Notice how losers with low paying jobs drive those crappy Korean rip off circus carts?

  • @judedelux

That's a strange way to describe people who are looking for value and quality. If you think that Korean carss of today are the Korean cars that were first introduced into the market in order to build some interest and market share, then you are a fool.

  • @TheAutoChannel Korea doesn’t allow US imports of any kind. Even if they did Koreans wouldn’t buy them because they know what butters their bread. The worst thieves of auto technology and design styling clues are from the Korean auto industry. As for quality you always see disabled Korean cars on expressways and streets. Jobs: For every 1 job Asians auto companies provide (mostly menial) 7 high tech and trade jobs are lost. So the fool around here is the bitch that dropped you on your head.

  • @judedelux

What does Korea's trade policies (even if they are bad for America) have to do with the quality of their present cars? If you're angry at Asian automakers because you think they deprived you of work pushing a broom, that's your problem. I suggest that you should have stayed in school through the 6th grade so that you might have had the opportunity to get a higher paying job.

  • LMAO, true dat

  • Fords mostly in Mexico? Um, no.

Go to google and search for AALA2009p.pdf. Shows where cars are assembled and their percent of domestic(US/Canda) parts. AALA is the American Automobile Labeling Act.

What am I getting at? KIA/Hyundai only contain 30 percent or so US made components and thus CANNOT say that their cars are "made in the USA" . They can however say their cars are "Assembled in the USA". That is what I am getting at.

70-75% + assembling in the US usually gives you made in usa.

  • I dont know what you are getting at, but Aston Martins are assembled in Austria, Mercedes Benz in Spain, and Fords mostly in Mexico.

So therefore a Kia assembled in the US is definitely not American made.

What is AMERICAN made? Dell and Apple are assembled in China. Banks have tellers in India.

Go to google and search for AALA2009p.pdf. It will till you the percent of domestic content of all vehicles. Doesn`t break down the proportion of Canadian/US parts though but gives a good overview. You can always go to a dealership and see the domestic content.

  • You know there are a shitload of Ford, GM, and Chyrsler plants in the United States. Perhaps you need to get off your dead ass and research before you open your mouth. Sure there are plants in Mexico and Canada but there are over 20+ for each company in the US.
