I don't see why you wouldn't wanna lose back pressure, more CFM of exhaust gasses flowing out means more fuel going in the cylinder. With your fuel remapped of course.

i did take out the baffles, is a little more throaty

Not sure who's you like better mine or yours. If it's mine......I took out the baffels....put in a thunderboltz ( lollypop ) for the back pressure. Also my Sporty is an 01.....carb not EFI.

I have the same pipes on mine. would like to remove the baffles.....but i don't want to loose the back pressure. can you give us a web address for those powerboltz?

Oh sorry.....I can't find them again the web site doesn't even show them anymore.....but make your own....so much cheaper that way anyway.....they're called a lollypop.
