I think that the robot was a human and is now a human soul in a robot body. Remember the little scene after the girl died with a boy and the girl playing in a field? I personally think that was the girl and the robot when he was a real human before he died.

Apostrophe then gets raged and he kills the robot that took Kushin/Uchi's life and then the robots back-up killed him. Kushin/Uchi then leanrs "Thers no such thing...as a thing that no one loves" "Even though i was all alone i was still loved by you." I am seriously crying right now at this song it very sad its getting harder and harder for me to be able to type and listen to the song i think i have already memorized the song by heart
