I went to visit my dad for a belated Christmas celebration, and I played a little bit on my Hammond L-100, which is currently being stored in his unfinished sunroom. Here's the tail-end of that result.

  • Hell with the hymnal - most of the people singing from it can't read the notes anyway. Play the four-count hold, if that's what you want to do!

  • That organ has a really clear sound! Great job showing off different drawbar combinations. And I heard the characteristic Posaune16 *add2* at the end of the intro! Nice finale! Whenever I can play this carol with the full four-count hold on "King", I like to play a one-octave scale up and back down in the left hand. Unfortunately, most hymnals only have a two-count hold.
