MUIDERZAND HOLLAND MAY 18 2004: This video has been sent to the Bavaria Headoffice in Giebelstad the same day as it was made. Two of the Bavaria 38 Match of Zeezeilschool Scheveningen (build# 6 and 7) appeared to have too little hull reenforcement aroud the keel. These problems have been tackled 3 times by Van de Bosch Yachting and Bavaria Gmbh (until 2006. At this time the boats are just 2 months old. Zeezeilschool Scheveningen temporarily cancelled all lessons with these boats untill construction was safe again. The first reaction of Van den BAsch was that we must have hit the ground with the boat. Hitting the ground, though is what a yacht should be be able to handle. In many practices of sailingschools it is a trainingsitem to learn a technique to get loose from running aground.
