Οι Σαρακατσάνοι, είναι πανάρχαια Ελληνική φυλή, που οι ρίζες της χάνονται στα βάθη των αιώνων. «Κατοικούμε έλεγαν οι γέροντες στον τόπο αυτό, από τότε που ο θεός έφτιαξε τα β΄να και τα ποτάμια, τον ήλιο και το φεγγάρι.

there are many scientists that have studied Sarakatsans.The one who made the most important study and research is Carsten Horg,a scientist from Denmark,not Greece and he considers Sarakatsans the clearest of the greeks and the oldest european people.You can look for it...I am a sarakatsan and i can assure you that i was listening my grand parents talk strangely sometimes...when i grew up ,i understood that the words they were using were ancient greek,forgotten in modern greek

sarakatsans are not vlachs. sarakatsans have ONLY greek blood and we are the oldest people in eyrope!

as for the vlachs,

i dont think that they are romanians. if u ask them, they will tell u.
