@MacbethMusic So? Those Irish plantations happened centuries ago, it doesnt make him any less Irish. Most Scottish come from Irish ancestory, doesnt make them any less Scotts

Norton has stated that he felt "out of place" growing up in Ireland, his family are Protestant yet the Republic Of Ireland is overwhelmingly Catholic. Norton took part in a TV programme to trace his ancestry. It was discovered that his family were originally planters sent over from England to take over Irish land.
