The theme of this kept changing. I wanted it first to be abusive relationship between some movie's mother and child and then it switched to the villainesses of movies who torture or abuse children, or significant other(s) and by the end, I had decided to make it so that the child or abused one was able to let go and run from the situation. Moving onto another life and forgetting the woman that they may have loved as a mother or significant other. The final idea for the completion of this montage was after I watched, "Toast", a BBC film with Helena Bonham Carter as the horrible step-mother. It made me realize that I too, can be free of the certain person in my life who even though I love dearly, it's best to let her go because she has done no good in my life and only made me feel unstable emotionally as a person. I would've not felt ready to make this leap if it hadn't been for the last scene in that movie!
