Why is it that most Americans get it wrong?

That's not scrambled egg, that's an scrambled omelette.

Scrambled is supposed to be very creamy still, and this is just an omelette chopped into smaller bits. It isn't even supposed to be that overcooked to be 'scrambled eggs', nor that extremely fluffy. Now what would the difference be if you made an omelette now and chopped it to bits?

Now to await the amount of people who somehow disagrees with me.
