  • I'd like to learn about this OS. I fail to see, by watching this video, or by anything else I've seen, the advantages to this over Linux. Everything looks pretty rudimentary.

  • nothing was accomplished in this video other than watching a desktop

  • Yes, not at the moment, probably not yet.

It depends on how you mean "better". Linux has more existing software, but Haiku might have a better design. Only time will tell.

I dunno about Wi-Fi. It tends to be one of those things that's a pain in the ass, I don't know if they're implemented it yet.

  • Is haiku for modern computers?better than linux and support wifi?

  • They just applied some gradient theme patches ... already looks nicer

  • actualty x-windows is a good system even ran on systems with as little as 4mb ram .... problem is the current implementation is crap

  • Congratulations. I love all free os. And this is a great idea x-windows, is too older. Haiku is the best

  • For 8 long minutes

    I endured hoping for more

    But no, time misspent

  • Hm, hope the Haiko-people start after the "BeOS 5.0" aim, to do somethig on the GUI.
