why do people think the zr1 is plastic? lol the only thing that is plastic is part of the rear bumper. which is made to conform to US collision standards, so it can take a 5-10 mph impact with little to no damage. everything else is top notch. BTW Ferrari is now copying the americans (they are now using magnetic suspension in their vehicles). also who would want an automatic transmission in a super/sports car? seems to me like it defeats the purpose of having a "sports" car to me.

@blaketheparonite91 umm chief the supra you just mentioned was SW's. and it was an automatic. the only viper to get 7 seconds, was driven by gary javo, yes in that exception and in SWs its the driver BUT the lowest time of a supra( 6.8) was by E kanoo and again AN AUTOMATIC. in drag racing the majority is automatics because they do not loose boost between shifts.

@PD19954 haha look up worlds fastest supra on youtube. not the fastest of course; but it runs a 7.90 its a MANUAL. look up vipers that get in low 7s with MANUAL. just did a quick search on youtube and found quite a bit of drag racing times with manuals in low 7s and some high 6s. thus proving my point that it depends on the skill of the driver. again the veyron is NOT an automatic. its a sequential dual clutch 7-speed. you still have to shift it.

@blaketheparonite91 your a fucking rice boy as usual. in regards to drag racing a manual cannot get low numbers BECUASE THEY ARE BUILT FOR ROAD RACING! much like those supras that have over 1zillion bhp but get 12 seconds on the 1/4 is due to the fact of their transmission. whereas the automatics are excellent from a dig. its not about making more power its about putting it down rice boy. and all the super cars manual.. right just like the veyron..
