  • sorry, I accidentally hit the "remove" button on something. It is right next to the "reply" one and I accidentally hit the wrong one :(

    I forget what it said...

Umm yeah. . . . just so you guys know :)

  • i mean if you really think this is better than my version let it be, ha. your soloist seems to think he's an opra singer, and lots of his notes are way off and dont match, too much color for the song and well basically everyhting said in the comment below me;

    2:16-through 3:03 what was that?

and the face on 3:03 ....

good luck in the future though(:

  • well. like i said in my reply to the comment below you.

  • LMAO!

    Okay, first off,

This song is NOT about...African drummers, flashy colors, or "moving" out of sync.

This is about troubles and trying to make it to "that place called heaven" and not giving up.

I think that this choir totally! missed the ball on the emotion of this song.

Soloist. Umm...Wow. I am a bit speechless, but I will say, you were doing tooo much. Way too much, and I can't believe your teacher let you perform with that. i really am not trying to be mean, but seriously.

  • you are entitled to your opinion

but could you keep the comments relatively nice?

    thnx

i've heard many versions of this song and believe that this is a good version, and that there are many interpertations (ack sorry i spelled tht wrong probably) but there are many other good ways to sing this too.

  • You're right. It's not your fault that your director chose to do it this way.

I am not sure how much the soloist was guided by her either but I will say, when he wrote this, this is NOT what he imagined.

But umm yea, I thought my comment was nice....

  • well

    it's not my choir.

it's my friends that are in this choir

i saw a highschool choir sing this the other day and it was a capella. i thought it was amazing. you see there are different ways to sing things.

    so yeah
