@ironwolfosiris my first intro to Persona just happened to be 3&4 and when I got this one and started playing it I fell in love with it! I get to see where such a great game series got its start, and it's awesome. The graphics don't bother me one little bit either.

I think the music works fine! Some say the orig music from the PS1 release is better but for reason, I think this music works, in a funky, quiky sort of way. IMO. I loved the music in P4! Sort of the same feel. I don't know! It just works for me where normally I would hate this kind of music for this type of game... but I really like it! Different feel. In a good way! Can't explain it . . . .I'm buying this tomorrow! :o)

The game is a remake of the origional Revelations Persona that was on the Playstation. Due to the limited graphics engine, the game designers were forced to make the game used with such sprite-like animations, since there was a lot of content to put into the game, especially a persona game.
The game designers in this remake didn't want to get rid of anything, since fans of the original persona series would indeed get very upset. This is indeed to please the fans.

actually no, an American artist / guy put a black guy in (there was none int he japanese version back in the 90's) to make it more culturally rounded.
Also the main characters were re-done to look more white. (hair so on and skin tone) also the girl who was in the gangs (i forget her name) 's past was re-written because we didn't want children reading / seeing that and think it was cool.
Please do your research before calling something racist.

Nope. I'm not. I just think it looks like a game I can play on a Iphone. And I never said I didn't like it. I'm still gonna get it ofcouse becouse I want to know the story but still.

Haha, gotta agree, graphics dont make a game, the gameplay and story does.

Also, do you happen to be the infamous Flacco of gameFAQs? Cause he said something about it looking like a cellphone game.
If you were a fan of Persona, graphics would be the least of your concern, unless you were brought to the series with 3 and 4. This game is nothing like those.

its actually the oposite: mark was initially white in the original japanese port, and since atlus localized everything when it hit the states, they changed all character names, spells, and changed mark's color. atlus has decided to keep the game faithful to the jp version, so all names have changed, etc. its not that atlus was being racist or anything, its just that he was never black to begin with.
