  • Why is the AIDS crisis more important than the crisis of sever poverty, hunger, sex trade, and persecution?

The Church has limited resources, so obviously all the issues can't be tackled, but shouldn't the most urgent ones get attention first? AIDS can be prevented with education, but what else can we do until a cure is found?

  • let the church arise in its glory ( God's glory)and save the one that have no voice... we can't just sit by and not doing anything...

  • Thanks, @aalr1986. I "fell out of love" with U2 during the 90's, as I think most "Christians" did... and now, since reading one of their books about their spiritual journey, I've rediscovered my old love, stronger than before. You may concur. I think that break from "formal religion" was necessary.

  • @tinofamba0526 it's been a while since you've written this, but I can't agree with you more.

  • Do you have the rest of this with Rich Stearns talking or do you know where i could get it?

  • a sense of urgency is one area that U2 has exceeded in inspiring fellow Christians... I'm so glad that U2 broke away from the rest of Christendom to remain active! Praise God for His message spoken thru U2 and for Bono's prophetic / poetic lyrics!!
