HEY :D this is a polymer clay Apple Pie tutorial ! I didn't really like the result much, but since I recorded it, I might as well upload it :| It's pretty crappy so Hopefully you can make it better or get some ideas from this!

The materials you'll need are
- Clay (I used some light yellow and some light brownish color)
- Pastels (yellow, brown and maybe orange. you could add green like I did, but it might just look weird.)
- eye pin if you want a key chain
- cutter knife, or something to cut the clay with (I use an x-acto knife)
- polymer clay glaze ( I use sculpey Studio Glossy Glaze)

  • Amazing. I suggest making it in a bottle cap as a pan. It's AMAZING. And do you have an Etsy shop and what do you use to make the crust all golden? Mica or chalk pastel?

  • @o0MelancholyHill0o i think ill be buying bottle caps soon :) as for an etsy, check the description box. there isn't anything for sale now, but i have made a few things that i will be adding pretty soon. I used chalk pastel and sculpey glaze for the crust.

  • @o0MelancholyHill0o oh and thanks for commenting ^.^

  • Hello and thank you for the great demo. Could I suggest you pan in and out less as it was a little harder to watch with the camera movement. Your wonderful work would be easier to watch...not meant in a mean spirit.

    I will be trying this!

  • @eirika2001 thanks for the feedback, this is one of the few times I used video footage instead of pictures to make a tutorial but it does look bad >.< ill try to make it more steady next time!!

  • @foodluvr97 You do lovely work - do you have access to a tripod? The make little ones to sit on tables and I have seen videos using them. I can't wait to try this apple pie! A video on doing the final touches would be great to see - what colours to mix to make a brown crust on bread or a pie etc..

    Thanks again for sharing. :-)

    Janet

  • @eirika2001 I have a big tripod and a small tabletop one but the tabletop one tends to fall over :(

for the crusts, I just use tan/warm colors like orange, brown, and yellow. I usually apply light colors first and darker colors on edges and higher areas of the crust where in real baked goods, it would be more baked than the rest of the bread/crust.
