A short video I created using a piece of software I've been developing for a few months now (yes, it's the same software that generated my Newton fractal video as well).
I didn't do anything special for the video; all of the attractors and their transitions into other attractors were randomly generated at run time. I think it turned out pretty well. The total amount of particles in the scene is 1024*1024 (or 1,048,576). I should have a screen saver based on this released sometime soon.
The video quality is broken for the first few frames. This is mostly the fault of ffmpeg, which should know better.
Music is "Souvlaki Space Station" by Slowdive.
Simply amazing, yet beautifully complex.

Great! I had lots of fun animating this maybe a decade back, but haven't returned to it in years - and the way I was doing it, every now and then it would suddenly draw a frame with only a few points in it, and I never figured out why!
