On September 11, 2001, George W. Bush was faced with a crisis that created new demands on the Executive Branch not seen in our time.

In an unprecedented panel, veterans of the Bush administration describe how the executive branch functioned on that day and in the days immediately succeeding it, led by ABC correspondent Ann Compton, one of only two journalists on Air Force One throughout September 11.

Andrew Card was the Chief of Staff from 2001-2006. On November 26, 2000, Andrew H. Card, Jr., was appointed to be Chief of Staff in the presidential administration of Texas Governor George W. Bush. Mr. Card was chosen because of his impressive service record in the public and private sector, including serving in the administrations of two former presidents. Mr. Card's last day was April 14, 2006, making him the second-longest serving White House chief of staff.

Ann Compton, ABC News White House Correspondent and the only reporter allowed to remain on Air Force One during the 9/11 attacks. Compton was the first woman assigned to cover the White House by a television network and has covered seven presidential campaigns.

Lawrence Ari Fleischer was the press secretary for U.S. President George W. Bush from January, 2001 to July, 2003. Fleischer was born in Pound Ridge, New York. He graduated from Fox Lane High School in Bedford, New York in 1978, and graduated from Middlebury College in Vermont in 1982.

why did they let the bin laden family all fly back home to saudi arabia when all other commercial commuter jets were grounded, no questions asked? Why was Bush sr having a meeting with Bin laden's brother on the morning of the 911 terror attacks? Most of the terrorists came from saudi arabia, why no mass war of occupation against saudi arabia like afganistan? This was a contrived event, and they play people like pawns with no care or respect for life, rather than treating people as brethren.

Shooting the planes down would have been the most logical course of action. If all four were shot down loss of life would have been around 10% of what it is now.

A) Bush was a draft-dodger (as were most top members of his chicken-hawk regime), and mostly AWOL from the Air Nat'l Guard. B) The only planes people saw hitting buildings that day were the cartoons they saw on TV. C) The official conspiracy theory is a pack of lies. D) Bush and company are war criminals and mass-murderers, and should be hanging from a gallows, not treated as celebrities. The real terrorists were (and still are) in the White House, Congress, Langley, and the CFR.
