Thank you very much this helped me out a lot...What is installous for?and i dont have an icon for one of the jailbroke(redsn0w,blackra1n etc)....I also want to download Winterboard but im scared it might crash so is there a way to do it w/o having a possibility of it crashing?

Thanks for the detailed instructions, I was following as the vid played along and all is working well. I'm on first gen ipod Touch jailbroken with OS 3.1.2 and it works just fine.
