queria preguntarte una cosa, me recomendarias esta guitarra para thrash estilo metallica, megadeth, testament, pantera? es que me gustaria una strato pero para tocar heavy con pastillas humbucker y floyd rose. Me lo recomendarias?

@GOIACDC Pues mira mi impresion, despues de varios meses de tocar con esta guitarra es: Para tocar hard rock de los 80's es muy buena solo en la seccion distorsion, los sonidos agudos son intensons, los harmonicos son muy faciles de hacer, el brazo es increible uno de los mejors que he tenido. Que es lo que no megusta: tocar en el canal clean, le falta sustain y nitides muy opaca en el canan drive solo tienes una textura y no es facil de mezclarla, no es una guitarra muy polivalente.

Excelent cover!!! I'm about to buy this guitar or the EVH Special black.!!! I see you have the Jackon DKMG on the back, I have the same guitar, how do you compare this Socal Charvel with the Jackson???

@averivera Well, i prefere my jackson, because is more versatile guitar than charvel. Charvel is very good guitar to play 80's rock with distortion, but clean sounds are poor for my. highs are thins and lows very lows. Dynamics are strange on this guitar, but I like it. Thanks for comment

@hhekkttor Do you recommend a Charvel Pro mod San Dimas or a So Cal for me? I play alot of heavy metal (Iron Maiden, Metallica etc), or would you recommend a Jackson DK2M dinky?

@sukkahiki666 Hi, I'm not sure, cause this guitar (So Cal) is very good for early heavy sound, like VH, Motley, Poison, Judas, etc, but in my opinion when you need Metallica sound or more modern heavey textures, this guitar doesn't deliver this tones. I prefere my Jackson or givsons guitars.

@hhekkttor Well, on my Charvel So Cal clean tones sound awesome as well. Maybe the tone zone is not always the pickup of choice for clean tones, but the neck and middle positions have a very nice sound to my ears. But, of course you have your personal opinion.
