Sony Ericsson Satio Launch - Vivaldi Four Seasons - Autumn feat. Layo & Bushwacka! & Scroobius Pip

On Wednesday 7 October 2009 at London's P3 warehouse, Sony Ericsson created a one-off music spectacular for the launch of their new Satio handset.
The event gathered a collective of music producers - Goldie, Layo & Bushwacka!, Sister Bliss & Tom Middleton, teamed them with Kano, Scroobius Pip, Ms Dynamite & Booty Luv and challenged them to reversion Vivaldi's classical masterpiece The Four Seasons. In 7 hours. For one night only.

Live support came from musical geniuses The Bays and The Heritage Orchestra, with visuals provided by DJ Yoda who mixed footage provided by Academy Award winning film Director Andrea Arnold shot on the new Satio handset.

wellactually you can blame the "artist" cos i don't think they did that for free and anyway they were real quick to use the publicity themselves, as for the argument that it takes genius to mix classical music and that it's been done once before. dude it's been done more than once before and a lot of people have done a pretty god job of it. when you cannot make the difference between creation and money, publicity grabbing oportunist maybe you shouldn't comment on music videos on youtube

You can't blame the artists since they seem to have been asked. They're all great in their field but that ain't classical music. It takes real genius to mix the two together and that's where Sony have flopped. This has been done before, a long time ago, by Zarjaz from Freakapuss Afterlife Systems. Earlier this year he released his second album of ancient music played with drum n bass and techno instruments and dedicated to the ravin massive called La Leggenda Del Block. It is real genius.

Trust me... i was there, this was incredible, you don't get a feeling for the mood and atmosphere during this. Don't forget they only had 7 hours to come up with this whole act.

sorry but although i love most of the people who colaborated on this, you just have to be honest and admit it's ever so disapointing, i mean it's plain terrible, nothing good about it, it's lame, flat, not even creative, well i hope that at least sony paid them well to associate their name with such a bad pr event.
