《憶故人》 -- 吳景略 (Wu Jinglüe)

《憶故人》-- "Yi Gu Ren" -- "Thinking of an Old Friend"

《憶故人》又名《山中思故人》、《空山憶故人》。曲譜載於《今虞琴刊》（1937年），傳自彭慶壽。相傳爲東漢蔡邕所作。曲調委婉纏綿，意在思念故人 。

全曲共六段，以泛音開頭，清新飄逸，使人於空山幽谷的寧靜之中油然而生思念故人之情。後幾段則以緩慢沉穩的節奏，綿綿不絕的琴音抒發了思念故人的情深意切，感人至深。

吳景略。中國古琴一代宗師，吳派創始人。1907年2月5日生于 江蘇常熟西塘市鎮，1987年8月16日卒于北京。原名韜，號緝 曼，江蘇常熟西塘市（現屬張家港市）人。其子吳文光也是現代出名的古琴演奏家。

Wu Jinglüe (Jinglue) (1907-1987) is considered one of the most important Guqin players of the 20th century and was also an active researcher and teacher. He was born in the town of Xitangshi, Changshu County, near Suzhou in Jiangsu province, China, on February 5, 1907, and died in Beijing on August 16, 1987. His son, Wu Wenguang, is also a famous Guqin player.

As far as I know there's no particular story. It's an aural depiction of recollections of a friend who's far away, or maybe dead.

It is quite interesting when one compares this piece played by Master Wi Jinglue, Wu Wenguang, and Wu ziying. Both Master Wu Wenguang and Wu ziying learned from Wu Jinglue. All three have a lot of similarities but all have their own style and interpretation of this piece.
