  • What a great preformance! so fun to see all of those people together on stage singing a classic song. They're not trying to make it better than the original or anything like that... they're just having fun up on stage with a whole group of friends. :) That's what music is all about. :) Go Brad on that guitar! hah!

  • Isn't it cute how they did the flying kiss at the same time right after the bow??? <3

  • @POISONOUSHAIRSPRAY oh okay. your're right though it should've stopped them from doing this cover

  • @KDude44444

I know Mick Jagger and what happened there. The point I was implying is that in the lyrics the song 'American Pie' Don McLean sings:

    '...Could break that satan’s spell.

And as the flames climbed high into the night

    To light the sacrificial rite,

I saw satan laughing with delight

    The day the music died'

And by that I don't revere to the deeper meaning of the words, simple that he sings of Satan. I didn't mean the deeper meaning of it. Simply that mentioned Satan in his song.

  • @POISONOUSHAIRSPRAY Don Mclean does not speak of satan he speaks of Mick Jagger (Please know who that is) and how at a concert The Rolling Stones had hells angels as body guards and a hells angel murdered someone. It's beleived to have happened while they were playing sympathy for the devil and the stones took it off their play list when they preformed for many years. So satan is Mick Jagger but he's awsome so it's okay

  • But... Aren't the Jonas Brothers believers in God? Don McLean speaks of Satan in this song... I thought that would be enough to keep these boys from covering it... But faith decided to make the world a little bit worse today.

  • @broodtrommel4life

Or hate it. Quite possibly hate too, actually.

  • @noshinx3 the original song is the best song ever it can't be beat Zepplin sold their souls to the devil and Don Mclean sold his soul to god and if you disagree with me that's blasphemy.

  • also ironic that it goes through the years of rock and roll and real music and look who covers it

  • It's kinda ironic isin't it. The Jonas brothers singing about the day that music died.
