How is it overpriced??? Its 200 dollars for a 16 gb 3g s which is about the average price of most smartphones in its range.

I have an ipod, a tom tom, a phone with email, a laptop with 3g. And a desktop with as many applications as you can shake a stick at.
Why in the hell would I want an iphone? Pay huge amounts a month for a terrible deal doesn't sound very smart to me, I pay less than half the price and I get unlimited texts.
That makes sense.
