Your works are incredibly beautiful!

@kellyjeanettearts the cement is usually only about 1/2 inch thick so a 30"x 36" piece weighs about 30 lbs.

@vinivv Thanks! I am scraping petroleum jelly out of the textured areas. It serves as a resist medium. I am making my technique up as I go along. Sometimes I do have trouble getting the cement off the glass but usually as the cement cures it shrinks a bit and and this causes it to release along with a little prying on my part.

Also William, do you sell your pieces? There are no prices on your website? Thank you

@EddoLand Yes, I do sell my pieces. They average around $2,000. depending on size. I can quote prices on specific pieces if you are interested.

Again William, Beautiful work :) Is the backing board for strength or just a way to hang the piece? You are so very nice to respond to everyone too by the way :)

@EddoLand You are correct, the backer board serves both those purposes.

@nycrtsts I experiment with all kinds but mainly use cement used for making counter tops.
