    Don't get me wrong, I can't stand Bon Jovi. They are everything wrong with people, music, society, etc. and that quote is ridiculous.

    Still, there are happy songs, sad songs, chill songs, energetic songs, breakup songs, love songs, angry songs, protest songs, folk songs, and so forth. One band cannot possibly be the best at making every single type of song known to man.

    Until then, in my opinion, there will never be a universal 'best band.' Not for any decade.

    Sigh, I am the only guy in my high school who listens to Husker Du, the Replacements and the Ramones. I fear that kids will wind up forgetting about these bands in the future; most kids just ignore them. Sigh.....
