Graham is one of the top 10 rockers of the last century .. and sure he can do soft and soulful.
This song is not up to his normal high standards. He is "the best kept secret in the west". Didn't get his due .. you want to see him with his great band the Rumor - see video "pourin' it all out".

Graham Parker's love songs are very authentic and realistic, unlike most of the meaningless cookie-cutter "love" songs that most "artists" cynically churn out with the commonality and frequency of a morning shit.
