The religous dance used at the Confucious Ceremony. This was taken at the Taipei Confucious Temple on the 28th September, 2006, or Teacher's Day in Taiwan.
oh my god, i remember doing this dance back in 2001! my friends mom's friend was a teacher and she needed three more people so she asked me and my two other friends to do the dance with them in San Francisco. so it was mainly a lot of taiwanese people 1 mexican (but i can speak chinese), 1 japanese, and 1 korean girl dancing with them!
Thanks to this video, I am able to grasp a much better concept to Chinese elegant music for rituals, which was essential to my research of similar pieces from the Shijing Yuepu!
Wow thanx, this music is much better than the one they use in mainland China.
I hope they adopt this music some day. Really orthodox, solemn, magnificent.
