The religous dance used at the Confucious Ceremony. This was taken at the Taipei Confucious Temple on the 28th September, 2006, or Teacher's Day in Taiwan.

  • Wow thanx, this music is much better than the one they use in mainland China.

I hope they adopt this music some day. Really orthodox, solemn, magnificent.

  • oh my god, i remember doing this dance back in 2001! my friends mom's friend was a teacher and she needed three more people so she asked me and my two other friends to do the dance with them in San Francisco. so it was mainly a lot of taiwanese people 1 mexican (but i can speak chinese), 1 japanese, and 1 korean girl dancing with them!

  • Thanks to this video, I am able to grasp a much better concept to Chinese elegant music for rituals, which was essential to my research of similar pieces from the Shijing Yuepu!
