Follow conservation agents and water patrol officers in Missouri as they work to keep our waterways safe and clean.
Theres a lot of people that are glad to see us out here patrolling the rivers making it safer for them to be out here. River patrols made
up basically of the conservation agents of Missouri, water patrol of state of Missouri and local sheriffs departments.
Terry- Its a very busy time on the river anymore with people loving to use it for the canoeing and rafting and outdoors as popular as it is
anymore.
Alan- The past few years... Probably in the last 10 its probably doubled, the traffic that weve had here on the rivers. And were looking at
today... probably 25-hundred boats. Water patrols mainly looking for substance abuses and minors in possession type stuff. And we usually handle
the fishing permits checks and littering. Conservation agents mainly focus on the fishing and wildlife aspect that we find out here on the river as
well as the littering that takes place.

  • SO theres a car dump near St. Louis, Thats because your near St. Louis. I lived in that area for years. I've also been all over Missouris, and the Niangua's one of them. Except for the odd beer can every couple miles, these rivers are not polluted or full of trash.

  • i really like that they are taken littering seriously they should check up on all missouri rivers the big river near st. louis has a huge car dump in it

  • Yes, our State waters, are our State's jurisdiction. I support Niangua River Patrol 100%. Keep our waters safe, keep our waters CLEAN. Take it easy on the smokers boys, they aren't causing the problems down there. It's the paddleslappin' drunks.

  • Should this be the province of government?

Quit wasting tax dollars chasing after minors with a few keystones in their canoe.

  • Let's Keep it Safe Out There.
