I really don't know much about guitar, I've only recently picked one up and learnt a few chords. I don't know the correct terms but anywho here's what I wanted to know:

I know to do the chords, and I know how to umm pick the stings singularly to make the tune (not sure If you know what I mean) But I dont understand how to join the together.

So I experimented and did like 3 strums of E minor then and then G2 and it sounded okay
