@anubethc45 Alissa does have beautiful spins and choroegraphy.I hated seeing her fall down so many times in the past.We sat behind the judges and noticed many skaters were falling down on the other side of the rink.I think something wasn't quiet right ice wise.

@anubethc45 Alissa did skate much better at this Nats which I saw some of in person,esp the men's final & exhibition.I believe Alissa almost quit then decided to change everything etc.As for those other gals you mentioned,I am not fans of them.My favorites will always be Janet Lynn whom I got to see in person in the mid 1970's and Tonya Harding skate in Sun Valley in '91.I also lived in Calif for many yrs and met Todd &Jennie Sand.Also met Chris Bowman,he was a sweetheart.

What an absolutely marvelous program by Alissa. She is absolutely the most gifted skater, an definitely the most elegant one as well.

yes i agree her components shouldve been higher all the girls sucked at that competition exept alissa, she glowed

NBC is also covering grand prix events... albeit limited. You should check online for coverage in your area.

She LOOKS like a champion here!! She's different from last year. She actually looks like she has confidence. The footwork, not the spins (amazing as usual) believe or not, was the best part!

She did very good here, the flip and axel werent given full scores but everything else had great marksshe does seem more confident, she has a presence on the ice, i hope she can continue doing well this season her short program if skated clean can definitly be int he 60's :P woo go czisny!!!

alissa has landed every jump in this program every time she has done it, i think she really enjoys this program... i know i do :)
