I like this song a lot. It doesn't sound dated at all to me. The middle slide guitar part reminds me of Pink Floyd. For the longest time I thought they were saying "lunatic red", as in crazy communist.....ROTFLOL!! Definitely one of the best songs of that era. ;^}

this tune sounds like tom petty fronting pink floyd.blends atmospheric progressive meets pop rock in a great way.still gives me goosebumps every time with that 'can you feel the thunder'?line.in spite of that classic ahead of its time tune.
