Rayman 2 TGE - The Precipice

Rayman 2: The Great Escape for the Dreamcast.

This level is one of the more exciting parts of the game. Razorbeard is starting to get miffed, so what does he do? Sends an entire warship that not only chases you through the whole level but constantly fires cannon balls at you every few seconds!

I purposely drained my vitality toright before the warning to show you how many Red Lums they toss at you here. Near the end of the level, they give you a regenerating Red Lum just like the Blue Lums underwater to get air.

Just about who had played the N64 or DS version of this level is most likely going to agree that the music during the second part of the stage was awesome! I used the original N64 music here (Dreamcast keeps the same tune as the first area... for shame!)

At the end, that Elite Henchman is pretty darn fast. If he hooks you, then you die and respawn. It was funny how I didn't have to fight to defeat him.

I thank Cheeseoman's video for that tip, as those guys have a lot of life.

Oh don't let the editing fool you. The music is pretty much the same as the PC version. Just that, I like the MIDI version in a lot of cases, better.

WOW! At one point I'm thinking "Jeez, what else can the do?!" Then, a Henchman pops outta nowhere guarding a switch for a door! Also a Ninja Pirate!!!
