Aging 101 for Georgia has been developed and produced to provide the key information people need to know about aging in Georgia. This video targets older adults and their adult children, as well as those who work with elders. It incorporates university experts on topics such as nutrition and caregiving, the Director of the Georgia Division of Aging Services, and a number of elders themselves, who share their wisdom and experiences.

You can request a copy of this 90-minute dvd free-of-charge, while supplies last, by calling 706-425-3222 or emailing your name and address to aging101@geron.uga.edu. You can also view this movie in its entirety online at http://vimeo.com/channels/ugagerontology .

Aging 101 for Georgia was conceptualized and directed by Dr. Anne Glass, Associate Director of the Institute of Gerontology in the College of Public Health, on behalf of a statewide collaborative initiative, the Gerontology Education and Training Alliance of Georgia (GET-AGE). The project was funded by a grant from Healthcare Georgia Foundation, and was produced through the University of Georgia's Center for Teaching and Learning in 2009.
