Modded Grand Prix GXP 5.3L LS4

Did a pass around 50ish to hear the Magnaflow Cat-back exhaust. Then did a 0-120ish. Started out half throttle and slowly worked it to about 3/4. Had to slow down because of a sharp turn. Thanks for watching.

when did they have transmission problems?

@NitroFantasy All years. It's not really that there bad. But they don't seem to do very well when modding.

At least there was a tap shift feature unlike the Impala SS, Monte Carlo SS and LaCrosse Super. From what I've seen, the shift time is pretty quick... Meaning from the time you push the button to the time it actually shifts. Does the G8 GT react any quicker in manual mode over the GP? Thanks and great videos!!

@IrishChris1979 It's nice, let me tell ya. Sport Mode is the best...Especially with a tune. I have it set where there is very little torque management in Sport and OHH GOD does that thing rip.

Sounds pretty decent man. I was curious how did you get rid of your daytime running lights, or do yours go off when your turn your switch ?

@arealscorpio1 Na I absolutely love the tranny in the G8. IT is soooo much better than the tranny in the GP GXP.

I personally like the looks of a GP GXP over a G8 GT. thats just me though.
