@giacotubo Put garbage where? There's nowhere to put the garbage. This is the city. East Asian cities have relatively high population densities. The ROC's population density is over 10 times that of the United States. People are already having a difficult time finding a place to live, there's no room in the cities to put out for people to dump their garbage. Also, garbage dumps will only make things worse. They're dirty, unhygenic, they stink. Nobody likes to live next to a dump.

LiouTao, I was asking because it "sounds" strange for me to see a garbage truck playng songs: now I've understood reason of it. Sirens and alarms are not to be preferred, for sure; but would't it be better to put garbage in common places and sending daily a trucks to pick it up??
