  • is there a way to make them able to hold liquids without glazing them?

  • @Lester284L To my limited knowledge, no, the results are for decroative pieces only and they are not food safe. I do plan on doing more ceramics though so when I do I'll ask about that to double check... there could be a process that allows it but I don't think there is.

  • couldnt this thing vibrarte a bit more?

  • @mo4life123 LOL - sorry for the really late reply. I know these videos aren't the greatest quality, they were shot with a point n shoot that did a mediocre job of video and I believe it had a housing on it to protect it from the rain which also muted the sound. I plan on studying more ceramics and hope to reshoot this process with the same teacher at some point in the next year or two, with better equipment :)

  • @steveleenow i forgot all about this vid...shit my head is spinning allll over again! loool...I forgot what sawdust firing even is...hope to see better vids soon, and works out for yah

  • @mo4life123 lol - yeah the new Youtube layout showed me that I had like dozens of comments on different videos that I'd never really seen before easily in the old Youtube layout!

  • ok found them

  • very nice

  • nice..........

  • This was a real find, inspirational. I am planning on doing a sawdust firing soon and this was just what I needed. Also the pottery was of a very high standard. Is there any more about how the pots are processed once removed from the sawdust kiln?
